North Frigate Bay Beach
This is known as the 'Marriott' beach ever since the Marriott Resort was built here a couple years ago. When I moved here I started walking this beach from one end to the other and back every day. It is the longest beach I could find and is a wonderful walk if you are into that sort of thing. I estimated the walk to be a couple miles one way. Along the way you get to see the Atlantic Ocean and its impressive waves to one side and much of the way you see the new Royal St. Kitts Golf Course. Much of this beach is private and you may not see another person along the way once you pass the Marriott Resort section. You can go swimming anywhere along the way, but be careful. The undertow on the Atlantic side of the island is nothing to fool around with. Stay fairly close to shore and respect the ferocity of the waves. Once the waves knock you down, it can be very taxing to try to stand back up. The area in front of the Marriott has had a breakwater added about a hundred feet out and the swimming and snorkeling in the area is great and one of my favorite spots, personally.
